Your First Login
How to access the Nightshift dashboard, enter your PIN, and start your first session.
Open the Nightshift dashboard URL in your browser, enter your 6-digit PIN, and you are in. No passwords to remember, no email verification. Your session stays active for 24 hours.
Logging in for the first time
Nightshift uses a simple PIN-based login. There is no username, no email/password combo, and no "forgot password" flow to wrestle with. Your administrator sets up your PIN, and you use it every time.
Open the dashboard
Navigate to your Nightshift dashboard URL in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox all work). You will see the login screen with a PIN entry pad.

Enter your PIN
Type your 6-digit PIN using the on-screen keypad or your keyboard. Each digit appears as a filled dot for security. If you make a mistake, use the backspace button to correct it.

You are in
Once you enter the correct PIN, the dashboard loads immediately. You land on the Morning Brief — your daily snapshot of everything that matters. No loading screens, no secondary verification.

Session management
Your login session lasts 24 hours from the time you enter your PIN. After that, you will need to enter it again. Here is what to know:

What if I do not have a PIN?
Your Nightshift administrator creates PINs for each user. If you do not have one yet, ask your admin or the person who set up Nightshift for your company. PINs are managed in Settings > Users.
If you are the owner and this is a brand-new setup, your initial PIN was provided during onboarding. Check the setup email from your Nightshift administrator.
Tips for a smooth login
- Bookmark the URL on your phone and laptop so you can reach it in one tap.
- Add to Home Screen on iOS or Android for an app-like experience — tap the share icon in Safari or the menu in Chrome and select "Add to Home Screen."
- Your PIN is personal. Do not share it with other team members. Each person gets their own PIN tied to their role and permissions.

Adding Nightshift to your phone home screen
For the best mobile experience, add Nightshift to your home screen. It opens full-screen without browser controls, just like a native app.
On iPhone (Safari)
Open the dashboard URL in Safari. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. Give it a name like "Nightshift" and tap Add.

On Android (Chrome)
Open the dashboard URL in Chrome. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner. Tap Add to Home screen. Confirm the name and tap Add.

Launch from your home screen
Find the Nightshift icon on your home screen and tap it. The dashboard opens in a standalone window. Enter your PIN once, and your session stays active for 24 hours.
What you see after logging in
After entering your PIN, you land directly on the Morning Brief. This page shows your daily snapshot — KPIs, revenue, alerts, and a summary of what your agents did overnight.
From here, you can:
- Read the Brief — scan the cards and charts for a quick status check
- Check alerts — see if anything needs your attention (red or yellow badges)
- Navigate to any section — use the top nav to explore Intelligence, Forecasting, Command Center, and more

Roles and what you can see
Not everyone sees the same dashboard. Nightshift uses role-based access:

Your role is assigned when your PIN is created. If you think you should have access to something you cannot see, ask your administrator.
Troubleshooting login issues
If you are having trouble logging in, here are the most common causes and fixes:
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix | |---|---|---| | PIN not accepted | Typo or wrong PIN | Double-check each digit. Try again slowly. | | "Too many attempts" message | Three incorrect PINs in a row | Wait 30 seconds for the cooldown to expire, then try again. | | Page will not load | Network issue or server down | Check your internet connection. Try refreshing the page. If the problem persists, the server may be undergoing maintenance. | | Stuck on a blank screen | Browser cache issue | Clear your browser cache or try an incognito/private window. | | Dashboard loads but data is missing | Data sync in progress | Wait a few minutes. If data is still missing after 15 minutes, check the status bar at the top of the page for connection issues. |
